As a child I often came home with eyes swollen shut, sneezing and miserable, because I could not resist playing with my friends' dogs, allergies be damned. I love dogs.

Today, allergies at bay, we are volunteer service dog puppy raisers for Canine Companions, a wonderful charity that provides service dogs to those in need.
