KIDS WERE MEANT TO CLIMB
As rock climbing has exploded in popularity in recent years, the inherent inequities of the sport have become apparent. Climbing, in a place like Florida where there is no outdoor option, is expensive. I felt called to do what I could to increase access, diversity, and inclusion to the sport.
The Florida Youth Climbing Foundation was established in 2025 to spread the benefits of climbing to kids who could not otherwise afford it. We sponsor their gym visits, memberships, team fees, competition expenses, travel and more.
Our youth are being raised on instant gratification of likes, clicks, and swipes. Climbing builds strength, resilience, and grit, physically and mentally. The obstacle is the route.
